So far it is ok. The screw driver the give you is not really compatible. Due to the location of the screws you have to get 8” Philips so you can torque it properly. Also, on my LEDs, only about 12” work. Then they don’t even have a number to contact them, only to go through your purchasing platform.

My 12 year old son put most of it together on his own pretty quickly. He displays his large Lego sets and its helped reduce the clutter and broken Lego sets everywhere. The glowing light is awesome and makes it cool for an almost teen boy. Sturdy and has survived him and his friends this far, but I also bought the protection plan.

I really like the case itself, but the only thing keeping it from a 5 star rating is the LED light strip. Its a fairly standard ribbon, but it has to make 2 ninety degree turns in each upper corner. Each corner is a very confined space and these turns put the LED strip under enough tension to cause the adhesive backing to constantly pull loose. I even tried using duct tape for extra hold in the corners and it didnt help. Ultimately I pulled the entire upper quarter of the strip loose and cut narrow lengths of 3M mounting tape to serve as the adhesive. I even added some black duct tape for extra hold and the lights have stayed in place ever since. In short, I love the case but the LEDs will need extra attention.

For the money a sturdy and attractive cabinet. The glass does rattle if the floor bounces and I would suggest thin strips of draft excluder between the glass and metal cabinet to stop this. Comes with gloves to keep prints off the glass as well as a reasonable screwdriver. The difficult part were the hinges for the glassdoor. I found that if you use the plastic supplied rectangles between the screw and glass you can tighten just short of hand tight (I didnt try further) and this provides adequate stable hinging to the glass door. I did not attach the lock latch plate as I seemed unneeded. The led light strip is self-adhesive and you remove and run up a vertical across the roof and down the other vertical. I kept the excess led strip on the reel. Then attach the 4 pin box to the end of the strip and plug the round dc connector to the supply adaptor. Heavy, so get help moving to its final location. WIll probably get a second one!

The cabinet instructions are useless and there are no instructions for how to install or operate the lighting. I've ordered several excellent products from Wayfair, but this was a huge disappointment. Wayfair staff have been very kind but not been able to assist at all.
