It’s not as bright as what the picture shows in the advertisement. In addition, although the drawers do have wheels, they have a locking mechanism that a little kid can’t use a keyhole type lock that the drawer has to be lifted up by the top edge and manuever the ball into the keyhole- not practical at all!!!

Great bed frame. I bought it for my husband and I. You don’t need a box spring but if your mattress is thinner, there may be a gap between the mattress and headboard. Our mattress fits perfectly with it. The cushioning on the back is nice so I don’t have to stack two pillows to sit up and the lights are great especially using it as a light to do some reading before bed and you can adjust the brightness so it doesn’t bother the other person. I love the drawers, they have a place to lock in when they’re closed and I can easily take them out when I want to clean under the bed.

I’m jealous of my son’s new bed! It has lots of color choices, brightness settings, and flashing onoff mode. The shelves and under bed storage is very practical. I also posted a picture of how the cord works to plug the bed in to the wall. My husband said it’s a bit short to reach the outlet he wanted to use, but easily fixed with extension cord.
