Beautiful ottoman but why does this thing smell like fish stinking up my house Trying to air it out.

EDIT: Wayfair worked with me quickly to replace this ottoman and the replacement did not have the odor. The original must have been a fluke. Thank you Wayfair Customer Support for your rapid response. This piece is absolutely beautiful, but the smell coming off of it is awful! I placed it outside under cover to air out but it's been 6 days and it's not clearing. The smell is strong just walking past it. I can't keep it in the house so am trying to resolve with request to return it

Beautiful piece, very well made, and it goes perfectly in my room…. However the SMELL is AWFUL. I read reviews where others complained about the smell but I honestly didn’t that it would be that horrible. Well …. It IS HORRIBLE and permeates throughout the entire house. I’m giving it a couple days to see if the smell subsides. If not, I will have to return it.

Great quality and is perfect for the loft family room in our beach house. Great for resting our feet or resting a tray for our snacks!!!
