Sofa set took me at least five hours to put together, and I put a good amount of furniture together on my own. I would highly recommended paying the extra charge for assemly if you are not accustomed to furniture assembly. This little sofa lounger sleeper is perfect for my cabin. We always need extra beds for guests and this works! It is very firm but I feel like it will soften as it ages.
