I like it and have trouble with it.
Pros:
Looks great
Solid metal frames
Wood doesn't "look" cheap
Cons:
Wood is hollow and cheap
Bad welds on metal frames (sturdy, but difficult to level items)
I like this table, it suits the purpose I bought it for. I bought three sets and plan on keeping them all. I wouldn't have paid more than the sale price I got them for, under $200 a set.
The metal welds on the frame cause some misalignment, we took apart and put back together multiple times and no matter what we tried we could not get it to level out. I'm no carpenter, but I worked maintenance at a school and know how to put stuff together! So now there is a little wobble to our table and one of the stools.
Another reviewer mentioned you need a drill. This is not entirely true. When attaching the metal frame to the wooden stool top, you need to push hard enough while screwing the regular philips head screw to get it to puncture the wood. But this isn't too hard since the wood is hollow. So it can be done by hand, easier with a drill though. But you do not need to drill your own holes, just need to puncture the wooden seat. Lining it up wasn't difficult, but if you weren't careful you could make the frame crooked to the seat.
For the price, you are getting something that looks great! The frames are sturdy, and if the cheap tabletop ever were damaged it wouldn't be hard to build your own and use the frame.
