This is an excellent composer.

Excellent composter! Well designed. Easy to rotate & open to place my kitchen & lawn compost into. With litte effort you can turn this easily to air & move blend the compost around. With it sitting on a base with wheels that easily rotates with very little effort. Also it sits low to the ground so you can get the compost out fairly easily I presume. I just purchased this so I need to give it some time & nicer weather to work it's magic. Overall I'm pleased with my purchase & would recommend it to others.

This is a great and easy to use tumbler. I love that you don't have to put it together.

Ive been using this composter for about one month. Ive used some of the larger capacity stand-up tumblers and they broke after years. At community gardens and my own gardens at different homes, Ive used all sorts of bins made from wire, plastic, or wood. This unit is expensive for sure, but it is the fastest composter and easiest to turn that Ive ever used. It can take a little force to start it turning, because you are lifting up a big pile of dirt at least a few inches before the load tumble and relieves some of the gravity but theres a four year old here that can do it, gripping the handholds. If you are making a lot of compost, with multiple loads of smulched leaves or lawn clippings, this is not going to be enough to process it all unless you use more than one. Im using mine only for food and garden scrap. I placed mine in a fenced garden maybe twenty feet from a sliding door and three feet from a patio, in full, all-day sun. No smell except when its open, maybe if your nose is more sensitive, you could find it offensive while closed. This thing is black, it cooks in the sun. If you want it to cook even more, cover the whole setup in like 8 mil. clear plastic for a few days, and this thing turns into basically an oven in dog days of July as I write this. Im going to install a thermometer, which Ive never seen a need for in all my composting. I will update with this with some temps, looking for this thing to steam in the winter. I am also looking at installing like a 6 inch portholecapped flange on the side, to make it easier to empty. Ive had no trouble with excess water, and in fact have added a few cups of water a couple of times. Definitely recommend.

I bought this as an early birthday present for my garden-loving husband, and he is thrilled with it. It works exactly as described, and I am so happy he's happy.

Love this. You can’t smell the compost, it’s easy to turn, and it was so easy to put the 2 pieces together.

Nice not to have to put anything together. It was just open the box and go. I wish I had room for a compost bin like we had at our other house, a big one on the ground that my husband made! But I do not, and this one is nice looking and seems to be doing a good job. It hold much more than it looks like it will, and I like the large opening.
