i bought these because my mother and grandmother loved cardinals . You only see them on the east coast and midwest . A wild bird would return every year to my moms home, and became so familiar it would sit on the arm of my moms chair quietly and peacefully when she was sitting there drinking her coffee . The same bird would come back year after year . Now i have them all over my home . I feel the presence of my mom and grandmother in my pieces .
