No to easy to install but when work is finish looks very good. Be sure to read instructions at the time you order the order the customer service with the company is no very good, I am still waiting for a part was missing after 3 weeks

I've never hung doors in my life and this kit made it very straightforward. I had to make a couple of adjustments to account for the magnetic strike and the rubber corner pieces but other than that it went in quite easily.
