Crafted by hand in Italy, this body ceramic is an iteration of the traditional subway style and bridges the gap between artistry and versatility. Exuding to the beauty expected of handmade ceramic tiles, each tile in the Orion Collection is glazed with a strong, bold color palette that intrinsically has high variation due to the nature of its making process. Decorate outdoor fireplaces with a metallic, crackled touch, or adorn the floors in your powder room with a pop of true individuality.

Features

  • Take a step inside the inner makings of the Orion Collection to reveal the tailored, hand-crafted nature of these subway tiles. In a process that takes beyond 4 weeks to complete, the early stages of creation start with shaping the ceramic by hand into molds and allowing the shaped bricks to air dry for 20 days then be fired in a kiln for 36 hours. Once done, each piece is hand-glazed by immersion, 2 to 3 times, and then baked for an additional 20 hours. The result is a stunning masterpiece that goes unmatched.
  • This Product has a PEI Rating of 3 (endurance and hardness indicator) and therefore is suited for residential countertops, walls, and medium-traffic floors.
  • Note: Do not dry-cut porcelain or ceramic tiles when installing due to the potential for exposure to silica dust. Use a wet saw or a score and snap tool when cutting.
