The Dyna-Glo Indoor Kerosene Radiant Heater generates infrared radiant heat that warms people and objects, rather than the air. Rated at 10,000 BTUs, the heats up to 500 square feet for up to 13 hours (depending on the grade of kerosene used and the age of the wick) using only 1 full 1.0-gallon tank of kerosene. Indoor wick kerosene heaters are 99 percent efficient, safe for living areas, easily portable, and require no installation. This can save money on home heating costs, by zone heating only the area of the house that is occupied. It is also the perfect solution for winter emergencies and power outages, as no electricity is required. The Dyna-Glo uses a circular cotton, rayon, and fiberglass wick to transport fuel up from the tank to the top of the wick, via capillary action, where the vapor is then ignited by a battery-powered glow plug ignition coil.
