Ashford Molded Classic Wainscot Wall Panel

Very happy with the end result! We added a chair rail above from our local home improvement store. We used a combo of construction adhesive and borrowed a neighbor’s nail gun to complete the project.

Great product that made my home just beautiful! I personally used a nail gun without any problems. I unfortunately had to use a miter saw on one of them to cut around an air vent. Product did not crack or chip. Paints very well. Would never know if job was done by professional woodworkers or a DIY person like me! Highly recommended.

Updating my powder room back wall. Have planned out the placement for these 3 'panels' and placed them more or less where they'll be installed. (Toilet rolls came in handy). They arrived in perfect condition, incredibly well packaged in a huge box - heaps of brown paper scrunched around to keep them from damage. They're not on the wall yet but I know they'll be fabulous. I measured out for 3x 12"x24" units. they're not wood but you'd never know it. Perfect corners and probably better than mitering wood pieces. I have a chair rail that also came today but havent opened it yet. 8' piece for my 6' wall. Will wallpaper above the chair-rail. That's here too. Pricing is incredible with Wayfair - all 3 items for under $100. I love shopping Wayfair. Huge selection, easy to find all the information you need. Excellent reviews - I always read them. Have shopped Wayfair many years as a designer and now I'm designing this for myself. Here's the Wayfair wallpaper. Also gorgeous. Will paint the wainscoting, Gesso chair-rail and wall white.

These are lightweight and easy to work with. I would do a primer layer before painting just to help it stick more (or sand down a bit, but you don’t want to lose the detail work). Way easier that cutting pieces on my own!
