The door chain is as expected. It looks sturdy and straightforward to install although I havent put it up yet. It is a useful and nice looking piece of hardware for the basement door, to keep my small children out

This chain lock adds additional security along with the regular door lock. It can be customized to be used with a shorter chain if wanted. It was very easy installation and the color is nice and blends in with any style door.

I INSTALLED THIS ON MY BACK DOOR LEADING TO THE GARAGE. I ALWAYS FELT INSECURE ABOUT THE BACK DOOR NOT BEING LOCKED PROPERLY AND SECURED BECAUSE THE GATAGE IS NOT ALWAYS SECURE. NOW, THAT THIS IS ON THE BACK DOOR, I FEELL MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE ABOUT THE GARAGE NOT BEING SECURE. THE BACK DOOR TO THE HOUSE NOW FEELS SECURE.

Great chain lock took minutes to add on my door . Thank you tried true.This particular style chain lock has upgraded.Now there is a screwed type to shorten lock for added security when opening door. Not much to say here - pretty straightforward purchase! All hardware included is good quality, the material seems sturdy, and installation was extremely simple. Pretty standard all the way around! No complaints and I definitely feel a little safer just with this small upgrade to my home security.
