Love these doors lots of compliments but a note to other buyers putting the metal bars and glass panels together is an exercise in patience & delicate assembly so if you aren’t up for the challenge I’d say pick again but if you can take it slowly you will be really happy in the end.

These doors are great! They took awhile to assemble but for the price under $1,000 they are totally worth it

We were really impressed with the packing of these doors for save shipping. They look so high quality and fits in our small business so perfectly!

I have assembled a lot of projects in the past (including other barn doors), but these doors were ridiculously hard to assemble. The instruction steps were often unclear if not totally misleading, and the measurement accuracies are almost impossible for a DIY homeowner to achieve (“drill a hole 2764” from the edge”). The instructions go back and forth between metric and standard. And it would have been awfully nice to have pre drilled holes for the rollers …. Drilling large bore holes accurately through aluminum was sketchy at best. The published estimate was 45 minutes to install but this took me well over 5 hours to finish 1 door and the hanger bar. One more door to go.

Super easy to assemble as long as you have 15 hours available. It’s so easy a 18 year old could do it.

Really changes the look of the room and makes it feel modern and sophisticated. Note that this will come in 3 packages, two large heavy boxes, and one smaller with hardware. Make sure you measure multiple times and use a level to ensure you are hanging the door at the proper level to leave a gap on the bottom so it clears the floor.

Overall they are very nice BUT expecting the average homeowner to drill into the metal rails to attach the roller pieces is ridiculous!! They should be pre-drilled!!

These doors would earn 5 stars if they weren’t so difficult to assemble. The doors side rails come in two pieces each which leads to several pieces required to assemble the doors side railframes and keep them structurally sound. The directions are not clear enough. It is definitely a two person task. It took my wife and I twelve hours each to get them assembled and hung. The result is beautiful but definitely took quite a bit more effort than one would expect.

Once put together the doors are great, but it definitely is a learning curve. The instructions take some time to sift through to figure out what is actually meant, and some of the pieces didn’t fit together as they should have, so I had to manually drill additional holes. The Allen wrenches provided work fine but I would recommend using a bike keylonger hex wrench to make it easier! Overall satisfied with the product, just wish it was easier to put together!

This kit is so complicated first off you will need a ton of tools not provided. The instructions are wrong you will have to trouble shoot it and figure out your own way to assemble. The screws for this item are trash they strip even when done by hand. The assembly requires the screw to go inside a piece then be screwed and it’s impossible. This item shouldn’t be sold at all. Literally took 12 hours between store trips for items that were not provided. Also the size is misleading it says “72” but once you put it up it’s more like “68” because the doors over lap each other. I now have a gap in my door that’s about 4 inches. I’ll have to entirely redo my trim work and cut into my floors to make it so the gap isn’t there. I’m currently using box’s so my cats cat get through the whole point was to keep my cats in the room. It doesn’t provide me with that separation at all. Not worth the hassle I wish I could go back in time n get my time and money back.
