I needed a gate latch that my dogs couldn't open by jumping on it. This latch is great in that pulling down on the handle doesn't release the latch. The materials seem well made and sturdy and the spring mechanism in the handle is robust. Matte black finish is good quality.

When I receive this item, what I was most impressed with right away was the weight. This is a heavy lock and I feel confident it will work on my gate. I Love this so very much. It is elegant and beautiful the material is sturdy and it was very easy to install i would recommend to others in fact i will be getting another for another gate! a definite must have beats the chain i had before

Unable to add a review at this time. I have not been able to fix my fence to put this new latch on. I will post an updated review once I get my fence set up this weekend when I have time. It looks nice and seems to be self explanatory

This latch arrived well packaged which I appreciate. I hate when you order something and it’s scratched up. It is very heavy duty and we look forward to getting it installed . Our last latch was flimsy and this one seems very durable. Great black finish.

I REALLY wanted to love this lock set. It’s dead simple to install (measure door thickness-it’s important), but the “metal” pieces are already chipping their paint before it’s even installed. Very disappointing.
