Rock solid, excellent assembly instructions and extra hardware, beautiful piece. Assembly took some time and I missed a step, despite the excellent instructions, and 3 of the plugs to cover the screw heads were too small for their holes. Wasn't thrilled to spend so much on a ladder, but my new house has 11ft kitchen cabinets and we wanted something attractive enough to always be out. This fits the bill. The blush color is neutral yet interesting, the ladder is sturdy and safe, and it really does stand up closed on its own.
