    We absolutely love this mantel! It’s made of heavier good quality REAL wood. The color and grain are beautiful too. It went perfectly with our modern MCM style that we were looking for. It’s pricey , but I highly recommend! I purchased the unfinished style and plan to possibly apply a coat of clear danish oil to help protect it.

    The mantle itself is very nicely made, you can tell it’s good quality. My issue is that I ordered the unfinished so we could stain according to the finishes in our living room. We prepped the mantle properly and stained. At the end of the mantle the stain wouldn’t take properly, most likely a knot or something in the wood. We went over the area multiple times but it just wouldn’t take. Now we have to sand and try to get it somewhat even. That’s disappointing considering what we paid.

    Beautiful mantle! The wood is solid in the grain and texture is lovely and natural. It was very easy to mount and really helps finish the space. There were a couple of dings on the end, but nothing major and easily fixed with a little bit of wood marker.
