It definitely is a beautiful door- and great quality…. BUT it was missing a bolt and an anchor, the bar has to be cut so make sure you have some sort of a auto saw to do that. The door comes in a ton of pieces you have to piece together, you have to drill the holes for the handle into the door yourself, the directions were TERRIBLE!! The only reason it worked for me is because my husband is handy and has a ton of tools put it together. If that is not you then this door is not for you, if it wasn’t for him- I would have sent this back as soon as I opened the box!

We added these to our primary bathroom door and closet and love them. Easy to install and smooth and quiet in their operation. They add a warmth and rustic vibe to soften our contemporary home

There are definitely higher quality barn doors out there. First off, the barn door hardware is pretty good - no complaints there. As for the actual door, the fir and quality of the individual boards and panels are less than perfect. I took a lot of care to get the panels lined up to minimize gaps, etc. I have a few slight gaps that really shouldn’t be there if the door was made with better precision. Next, the finish is pretty bad. It has a very rough and unfinished look to it. The color does not look like the photos. What I did is I used Annie Sloan Paris Grey chalk paint as a wash over top the factory finish and finished with Annie Sloan wax. That made all the difference in the world. The door now looks ten times better and we get tons of compliments on it.

The kit was complete, instructions were clear, and the door installed exactly as pictured and described.
