I purchased this unit to help keep my Arizona sun room cool during the hot summer months. The room is 300 square feet with windows on three sides. This unit has kept the room cool and comfortable even when temperatures rise above 110. The fan is not quiet, but it’s not unbearably loud either. It was also very easy to install with clear directions. I did purchase the extended warranty because other reviews mentioned it quit working after a year. So far, however, I am very happy with the unit and would recommend it.
