Note that the board backs are not painted. Each shiplap board has rabbeted edges and overlap for a true shiplap look. These smooth-surfaced boards have been kiln dried for added stability. Boards may warp or cup slightly after acclimating. Recommended for interior use only. Use a high-quality polyurethane sealer in high-traffic areas. Note that the level of color and charring will vary on boards because of wood’s natural characteristics. To ensure the most consistent color, it is recommended you purchase your entire job plus a minimum of 10% overage.
