Is the pole sturdy - yes. So sturdy i burnt up numerous bits trying to drill the holes. Do yourself a favor and buy the pre-drilled option.

These worked out awesome for our deck railing. My partner was comfortable drilling the holes, and he did the offset for the corner posts which is so much better looking than the double posts at each corner. We are now moving on to the steps/stairwell and will be buying more of these for that project.

These posts did not come pre drilled for cable wiring as pictured they were very inexpensive but not sure the cost justified the extra work of drilling

These posts are sturdy and high quality. We thought the holes were pre-drilled, which was the only downfall.

The bottom bracket is bent and they don’t come with anything you need to install. These are just the posts! No bolts, caps, etc.

Actually, bought as an open box item. IF it was inspected as stated, inspector needs glasses. Item received bent on one end with no box damage. Wayfair is a good company, just saying…

These were perfect for our railing, however they were hard to drill for cabling.

Theyre good when they dont arrive damaged. Manufacturer needs to package for shipment better. Wayfair was wonderful in fixing the situation.
