Fairmont 12 ft. W x 8 ft. D Storage Shed

Overall okay but having to hire a handyman to fix some issues. The bottom boards were not treated. One of the 2x4’s was very crooked. The directions were not correct, was guiding the installers to install two windows when there was only one window. The installation Company Wayfair used, that I paid additional money for, was horrible. 

This shed has to be constructed almost completely from scratch. The person who put it together for us said it would have been easier and better-built if he had just bought the raw materials. The studs are intended to be 24" apart, which would have poor stability; standard is 16" and he bought more lumber and did the studs at the proper distance. The roof studs were also 24" apart; he said if anything falls on it, it won't hold up well. Only a portion of the roof was covered by the wood provided. Roof shingles were not supplied, and the entire shed was painted tan, not gray, and will need to be repainted. The window opening was not even pre-cut. It took 3 men over 2 days to put this up, not including the work to create a level base. This replaces a shed that we bought years ago and that (once a level foundation was created) took my husband and father less than a day to put up. The cost for this shed, unless you are a do-it-yourselfer, is MUCH more than the listed price, and even if you are building it yourself, you are going to have to buy materials (paint, shingles) that weren't specified as not included. This was a costly mistake.

Great shed with lots of room. It took a while to construct but the finished product is worth it. Looks great!

We modified to make a beach cabana. Customer service is great. Everything was in kit. Shocked how heavy duty the doors are for this shed. Great buy! Took 3 days to assemble with 2 guys
