IMPORTANT I am giving this 4 stars for tangential reasons, because overall I think Wayfair needs to do a better job with items like this and their description of the anticipatedsuggested bulbs. Please do your own research, but I am using a 1 Watt LED E12 bulb in the provided picture and the results are as desired. Unless you are attempting to also heat your house with this (probably inefficiently), there is absolutely no reason to pursue an incandescent light. From others reviews, I agree it can be a little more eerie than expected. The quality is great though, and I like how it looks.

This will be a gift for somebody in a couple of months, but I took it out of the box to make sure it wasn't damaged. It is a pretty decent size and seems to be made well. The only thing that bothers me is that the cardinals head is almost completely backwards on its body and it looks somewhat unnatural. Im sure to a person that loves cardinals that this wouldn't matter much because it is still beautiful.

Nice lamp- doesn’t give off a lot of light.

It was okay. There were some flaws. It had some missing paint and some gaps where the bird perched.

Looks kinda creepy in person....
