Great planter! The pot itself is heavy and well-made. It looks like the pot may have been glued to the base, originally, but I prefer that they separate. This is not a pot for planting directly into because there are no drainage holes. I put a plant in it that is in another plastic container with drainage holes and then a layer of rocks underneath to capture any excess water. But with any plant I put in a planter like this, when I do a thorough soaking, I lift out the plant (in its plastic pot) and water it outside or in a deep sink and let the water drain out so I don't have a pool of water in the decorative planter that invites fungus, mold and gnats/mosquitoes. This planter is quality and very nice in person. Highly recommend.

I wanted a new planter to add to my decor Im updating in my living room. It was actually larger than I expected, which is great so I have the flexibility to swap out plants. Im even more excited that this was a no assembly item. The pot has great weight to it.

This pot has received so many wonderful compliments - I have it in my work-office. I love it more in person than I did from the photos in the listing. It’s sturdy and the base is connected to the pot itself which was a plus. I think I might get a second for home.

My plant desperately needed a bigger pot and this one was the perfect size and color. The brown and tan/gold go perfectly with the room's decor. I have another plant in a pot with its own stand and I really like it. This pot's stand looks good. It's odd, though, that the stand looks like it has glue on it like the pot was originally glued to the stand. It's not, which is good. The stand isn't exactly even so it wobbles a bit...until the heavy filled pot steadies it. I find it frustrating that manufacturers put stickers where they might show and they are the kind of stickers that don't come off easily. There were two stickers: one came off and one didn't. Luckily I got enough off and the dirt covered the rest. The planter came double boxed. The inside box was damaged a bit but the outside one was fine. The "stuffing" used between the two boxes was unique: triangles of cardboard with holes it. It looked like something for a building set.

This is a very attractive designer planter. The pot comes attached (glued) to the wooden base. The pot is black with gold squiggly circles. It goes well with modern or Asian motif. I highly recommend the purchase of this planter.

Beautiful new home for my plant! I couldn't be happier with this planter. It is heavy duty and beautifully crafted. The stand under the pot is sturdy, not "tippy" at all. The ceramic is well made and no chipping or flaws in the glazing. There is not a drainage hole in the pot, so leave your plant in an insert with drainage.
