This item is very heavy and well made. It’s pretty too. Just please be careful with fluffy dough, it will flatten it, but that’s what I needed to help me roll out the dough. Love it. It remained me of one my mother owned.

First of all, it looks so lovely on my new granite counter top. I have found that this rolling pin works especially well for rolling out smaller pieces of pastry. Mini tart crusts and embellishments for top crusts. It just doesn't have the weight for full size pie crusts but is still a welcome addition to my kitchen.

The rolling pin is well balanced, pretty and feels comfortable to use. I like the little base it keep it from rolling away. The weight means I wont have to use too much pressure when rolling out dough. Nice choice

Attractive and useful! I am older person with arthritis and this smaller than most marble rolling pin is perfect for me. I can easily control thicknesses and shapes of pastry I am making without undo stress on my hands. I bake a lot especially during for the holidays. This smaller is perfect for me and beautiful enough to leave on the counter all the time.
