Having cooked with it several times now I’m surprised how biscuits and cookies just don’t burn on the bottom when they come out! They look perfect. I’ve since bought more Hestan products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have become concerned lately reading about the research done on the blood-brain barrier and evidence that ingested microplastics and aluminum can cross that barrier. I use aluminum baking pans regularly (without parchment paper because who knows what chemicals are used to create its non-stick surface) for roasting and decided to bite the bullet and order a more expensive stainless steel baking pan. Amazing - sturdy construction with handles, on the heavier side but not too heavy, and the clean-up (without parchment paper) has been easy. The "half-sheet" size is the same size as my aluminum baking pans, filling up my residential oven rack. I feel more confident that I am not introducing harmful chemicals into our food with this bakeware.
