Not as heavy duty/sturdy as I would have wanted, but seems adequate. Time will tell. Folds up and out of the way when not in use and helps maximize limited space. It just barely fits into the space we have.

I use my iron and a tiny portable board upstairs to touch up my wardrobe. When I saw this built in FULL size board that swivels, I had to have it. I did not need a light or an extra plug but those added features would be wonderful for a more remote location. The storage for the iron allows me to hide it away while it cools instead of sitting expose on the vanity. So very easy to use.

Premium Hot Iron Storage: Updated to accommodate most modern irons on the market today, the premium-size storage shelf is reinforced with a high quality heat shield allowing you to store the iron hot!
Non-Electric: non-electric ironing center, perfect for locations with a nearby outlet or when accessing electricity is troublesome.
2 Height Positions: Designed for multiple users, the height adjustment feature provides two ironing height positions to choose from.
46" Ironing Board: features a premium length 46" ironing board with cover and pad.
Recessed or Wall Mount: The ironing center can be recessed between studs, protruding just 3 7/8" into the room, or mounted directly on a wall, protruding 7 3/4" into the room. See the installation manual for more details.
Unfinished Cabinet: cabinet exterior is unfinished and ready to be painted or stained to match the existing décor.
Other Features: Premium features also include a cord cover to keep long lengths of cord organized, a garment bar for finished pieces, and three storage shelves within the cabinet.
