Updated Review: DOES NOT WITHSTAND MUCH WIND!!! Make sure you put in a protected area, or fasten down. Ours was a complete loss! It completely ripped the screws out in every section. The wood is not a strong wood to hold the screw. It twisted and turned with minor winds even prior to the complete destruction. Prior Review: Package came late due to weather and package was pretty beaten up. We had a couple broken pieces that we were able to fix pretty easily. Took 2 adults about 3 hours to put together. Playhouse was not square and didn’t come together in all areas as it should have….but we made due. The door is extremely hard to open. We just leave open all the time so it doesn’t end up broken. Over all pretty cute and our 4 year old loves it. Found some cute items and the dollar store to dress it up a bit.

The wooden playhouse is priced appropriately for its size (nice space for toddlers, older kids may outgrow it) and its quality (thin wood, a few cracks emerged during assembly). We had a birthday party with 8 kids under 3 years old and it was a big hit and is still standing. I am happy with purchase. I also added a coat of spar urethane to try to protect the wood for outdoor use (Pennsylvania)

I got this for my grandson for Christmas. He loves it.

Good playhouse - door is tough to open and could use a handle on the inside but overall it was great quality and the cheapest for this size wooden playhouse I could find. Easy to customize. We mad this one into a little surf shack!

The Jack and June box is very poorly made with confusing instructions. Some of the wood pieces were chipped, splintered and damaged. I did not receive 2 pieces that were needed to construct the playhouse. In addition, the sizing of the wood on other pieces were wrong in which I would have to cut them in order for the elbow bracket to fit properly. Would not recommend buying this project.

This house is really cute. Both of my girls love to play in it and it is pretty solid for them to use. Putting it together took some time but wasn’t overwhelming. The only issue we have is that the track for the door is pretty flimsy. It is a plastic track and plastic wheels which seems to stick and makes it difficult to open and close especially for young kids

It has a lot of unfinished sections with exposed screw holes, corners etc. it’s definitely a project to assemble and I’m not sure it would last in my climate more than a season unless it was stored mainly in the shade.

The Jack & June Playhouse arrived quickly and was well packaged. Assembly was quite the project and took two 10-hour days to complete. Nothing is labeled, and the roof is a nightmare to attach. The sliding barn door is difficult to open and close. This is a cute playhouse once the assembly is complete. Great design, but poor craftsmanship at the factory lower the stars for this playhouse.

What a project to put together. Took a few hours. Wood is vey light weight and soft. Together is a little flimsy when moving. Make sure you put together where you want it. I had to move it from the garage to the back yard. Not fun at all. Don’t expect the pieces to match up just right. It’s a little rough on the edges. As you can see I the picks it’s not super sturdy. Have to adjust the walls when you set it up. Make sure you have a screw gun. Will save you a lot of time. Don’t over tighten ad the screw will go through as the wood is very soft. The directions were fairly easy to read and understand. I personally would not want to build again and would not purchase again. Looks nice just not too sure how long it will last. The idea is great just as well. I’d rather do one in plastic or more sturdy lumber.

This was the perfect addition to our lake house! I have three little ones who love their plastic playhouse. But, this one looks so much nicer on the property facing the lake. I’m looking forward to painting it to match the house. It was quite time consuming. The wood is a little thinner than I had hoped for but overall a good piece for my littles to enjoy. I love the sliding barn door.
