Perfect! Great quality and excellent drainage.

I started with 3 planters which were purchased last year and just beginning their second planting season. Added 2 more this year because I liked them so much! They are sturdy, attractive at a perfect height. Also really like the little side extension. After figuring out how to put together the first one the others were no problem…I feel I am a master at this now! Personally I’ve had no issues with drainage, wood splitting or discoloration after a year. I hope that continues! Lol! And yes, they are made of pine not oak or cedar and may break down sooner but for what the price is I feel you are getting very good value for your money. I also try to catch these when they are on sale as well. As far as drainage…In reality it is just a box with drain holes on bottom with a mesh liner…..if your looking for a more advanced wateringdrainage system you probably will be disappointed with these. For my needs, starting to get back into gardening, this box was perfect!

its made from pine.. this will not last long out doors. and every bit of it has to be assembled. way overpriced for type of wood and stain.

Easy to put together with step by step instructions. Sturdy and looks like it could hold up well but only time will tell. Looks nice. Fast shipping.

three years later i’m writing this review. amazing quality. has withstood rain, snow (i’m in ga so only once lol) and still holding strong.

The planter has an attractive design and looks great once assembled. However, it was more challenging to put together than expected, and it lacks proper drainage.
