Fantastic. Exactly how it was portrayed. And fully microwaveable without a single spark or hot spot. The gleaming porcelain finish is perfect.

I bought 2 sets. The first came flawless but the second had a dinner plate with about .25 inch gold trim missing on the rim of the plate. I love the the design and its very nice place setting. Only wish the 1 plate didn’t come that way. I didn’t ask for a return as I'm just too busy to mess with it. I would have given it a 5 if they had come without the flaw on 1 plate.

Love the touch of elegance while the platinum pattern we choose is dishwasher safe too! Smooth finish making them easier to clean as well!

A number of years ago, I purchased Noritake Contemporary Metropolitan Gold II dishware. I went to replace a few plates that had become chipped. Metro Gold is not offered any longer, but Charlotta Gold was similar. I am happy with what I received. The gold around the rim is slightly darker than Metro Gold, but overall it is a close match, and I'm happy with it. I would order it again. I also purchased fruit bowls and soup bowls.
