I like the napkins, but they have a rather surprising strong smell, when unpacked. I set them aside to air out. I am hoping the odor will wash out. The smell is unusual, perhaps a chemical smell, or perhaps from the plastic bag packaging. I bought for a gift, so I will not need to use them right away. The cloth is a nice The the design is lovely. I am hoping the smell will wash out.
