I have purchased many Melamine serving pieces and they are very beautiful to look at, and easily cared for. Perfect for mix and match, cheerful displays with a variety of food items or a tea party etc. We have tile floors and these work well with children and adults for family gatherings, BBQ or by the pool. Light weight too! My granddaughter, age 20, is an artists and does many crafts. I bought the Parisian Scene platter for her. She used the tray to organize small items for a project, and sent me a message regarding the beauty this tray brought to her work area.
