LOVE THIS! The item was well-packaged arrived quickly. Our backyard is under construction so we aren’t ready to permanently set this up but we were excited to try it out so we set it up temporarily in our front yard. The instructions are primarily diagrams with very few words so First Time (2 person) Assembly took about an hour to figure out bc we had to redo a couple of steps. My husband thinks once you know how it goes together, 1 person could assemble it but says 2 people could easily assemble it in about 15 minutes. PROS It is a good quality, very sturdy piece. The “popping-up” part of assembly is far easier than our small portable camping canopy takes only a couple minutes.This has netting to keep the bugs at bay all 4 sides have zippers built in tie-backs. Extremely nice features. **I saw one review on here that said if windy, then the mosquito netting would be useless BUT in his photos, he has his netting hanging from INSIDE the legs rather than the netting hanging around the outside of the legs.This was the same mistake we made during our first assembly because the instructions were unclear. Redoing it took some time but if the netting is on properly it will certainly keep the bugs out. CONS The 32 plastic curtain rings it came with for hanging the netting are poor quality. I suspect they’ll start breaking after a few uses unless we are extremely careful. We will probably replace them w metal rings, but that’s a minor issue. Unfortunately,the nylon fly came with a run in it.I will either add a couple of stitches or maybe a patch to prevent it from further tearing. Oddly,There is a small red sharpie-type marking on one corner of the netting. It has a storagecarrying bag but it’s not great quality AND it does NOT have Wheels on it, like the description said it would. PROS for us but possibly CON for someone else it’s HEAVY. For use in the backyard it’s fantastic. Once it’s in the carrying case it is compact enough that you could bring it to the beach or park BUT it is very heavy (75 Lbs). However, that’s because it is very well-made and sturdy so this is a PRO for us but I can see how it could be a problem for some. just be aware of the weight before you buy this. great quality AND it does NOT have Wheels on it, like the description said it would.. So first things first. Instructions are not very good. If you haven’t put a few of these up then it might be a bit confusing. But once you get going it will make sense. I really like the base part of it. Went up fine. Looks good. Now once the netting is added it isn’t that great. The netting is put up by shower rings and rope. Love the bag it came in. Wheels on the bottom makes it great. Easy pop up easy to assemble. Looks marvelous!! No more eating in the hot sun or sitting with the sun beating down on you. So it got the gazebo as part of a project to redo my deck. I love it but a few things to be mindful of 1. The frame isn’t firm steel so ensure to bolt it down in addition to adding weights. (The wind took mine even with weights and I had to recover it from my neighbors yard. So I had to rebuild it and do some repairs, luckily I am on the handy side). 2. The pictures in the instructions are mediocre at best, but you can do it!! Don’t be discouraged! 3. Pay attention to which poles get the longer bolts. 4. If you are building alone you may want to change the way you build versus the way the instructions indicate. Constructing certain sides first and using a ladder and some furniture to hold the sides can be helpful and can provide needed support, one piece at a time. It is a difficult task so if you have another person to help get them!! Instructions say you need 3 bodies. I built it alone. 5. For the curtains align the small strings to the post first to help with the installation. The shorter curtain goes with the middle post. The long ones go on the end poles, but the middle of the curtain (the tiny strings) is aligned with the post. (Makes no sense now but will when you get there). 6. When adding the fabric roofing, do the top first. (You’ll thank me later!) All in all, it is beautiful but could be steadier, I adding weights and bolting it are your best options for longevity. So this was a fun project. Not to many parts for such a large product which is great. Was able to set this up solo under 3 hours. Directions were extremely easy to read and understand, packaging was simple and easy to remove. A ladder is required. But overall it came out pretty good. Looks great too! I was on my 3rd Ozark Trail cheap gazebo and it, like the others, ripped and the frame oxidation is horrible. Finally decided to spend the money and get something different. This gazebo is 3 wider than the cheap Ozarks and is well made. The frame assembly is easy. I love the thumbscrews. No tools necessary. Some parts were mislabeled but its easy to figure out from the pictures. Took me about an hour and a half with my wife helping with fabric and netting. Nice canopy. Arrived relatively quickly. Instructions were easy to follow but I still made an initial mistake but quickly realized the error. Most of the pieces snap together which is nice, otherwise a Phillips head screwdriver or drill is all you need. Fabric seems to be a good quality and well made. This was the perfect gazebo for the extended, uncovered portion of our patio. The instructions were well-written, the hardware was packaged well and very organized. The metal pieces are a very pretty stone brown color that goes well with our deck color. The canopy is tightly woven and lets hardly any sunlight through which is great UV protection.
