The awning is great so far. We have 12*10 size. We added this on our deck on vinyl sliding.. needed to find the stud and used ledger-lock instead of given screws ( as those can only be used in brick).. looks pretty solid, will have to see how it holds in wind.. Issues started right away with the amount of plastic used to ship this item. Yikes. Less plastic in the future would be super ideal. The next issue I noticed was the stitch used was simple and not at all weatherproof that Id think would be on this. If you have a sewing machine then it would be a easy fix to put stronger stiches into it, if not well youd have to pay someone or I fear this will last maybe a summer. Onto instructions lol maybe it was an off day for me because I hate to admit that I took much longer trying to figure out if I was missing something on the last step in step four than normal. Also, the the long black plastic stuck is the tread. I thought it would have been stronger material. Lastly I do not have any pictures of it up yet because when I hired someone to put it up I was informed I needed a permit to have it put up!! So crazy so Im going to be looking into that and Ill update if Wayfair allows me to. So far Id buy this for a temporary type outdoor upgrade. Time will tell if its Florida weather safe.. Kimberly. Despite the fact that the sap dripping from our mesquite tree shows right through, we're giving this 5 stars. It only took about 30, maybe 45, minutes to install, and that was because Husband-man did it by himself because I do not do ladders. It's in a semi-sheltered area of the yard, so it won't be under the direct Arizona summer sun, so it should last a while. I am going to create a drape to put up in the ceiling because I don't like the drips, but that's not the canopy's fault. (Happily, we were able to find a spray paint that almost exactly matched the canopy - Rustoleum shell white - so we could repaint the frame; you can see that better in the evening pic than in the drips-on-the-roof pic.) When I purchased this (10x20) louvered pergola, the only review here told a tale of misery in the assembly. I was cautiously optimistic that we would have better results. Thankfully, our experience was nothing like that reviewer’s. It took my husband and me about 6 hours to assemble the pergola start to finish. A couple of things to keep in mind, especially if you’re considering the 10x20 There’s absolutely no way you could assemble this alone. We managed with 2 people, but there were points when a 3rd person would have been ideal. The assembly isn’t complicated, but it is fairly tedious. You’ll need significant room to work, and you have to have two ladders. We managed with a tall step ladder as our second one, but that only worked because my husband is 6’2”. We only had 1 screw break, out of the entire project. It wasn’t a problem, though, because they provide two extra louvers. Speaking of the louvers, the previous reviewer installed them incorrectly. There are not “four center pieces” as indicated in the review. All of the louvers are identical, and you install the two pieces that attach to the cranks first. Then you install all of the rest, so that each one lays on the previous one when they’re closed. We’ve had this up for several weeks now, and it has rained many, many times. When the louvers are closed, the roof on this pergola is absolutely watertight. It’s incredible. I cannot recommend this highly enough!. Mallory. US. 2021-05-28 10:59:26

We love our pergolas! Very easy to put together. It was a cheaper way to cover our back patio for the time being! We just bought our house back in September and wanted to give our patio a cozy feel for the summer nights coming up soon! It also helps with the rain hitting our basement doors! I did spray each canopy, top and bottom, with a waterproof sealant for extra protection before attaching them onto the pergolas! We have had some heavy rain storms and they have held up very well! The only thing is that I have to go out and hit the water out of the canopy after a rain storm so that it’s not just sitting on there. It only catches on the 3rd row up right above the row with the drain holes. Other than that small thing, we couldn’t be happier with our pergolas! We have had so many compliments!
