After 4 days of installing with the help of my son, I am beat. This review would have got a 5, but I’m giving it a 3 because the installation was hell. The instructions are terrible to follow. Once you get to the roof, good luck because you will be saying every swear word in the book. The plastic pieces that go on the end of the roof panels kept sliding off and it’s hard to align the spacers to the hole. Do yourself a favor and buy some high grade electrical tape to tape the plastic pieces to the back of the panel, I chose electric tape to sustain the 100 degree weather in Vegas. Also buy some adhesive tape (Gorilla 30lbs) to tape the spacers to the panels and align with the screw hole. Both these steps will save you plenty of time and less frustration. I read a lot of reviews saying to hire someone to do it. Anyone installing this product will have a hard time and it’ll end up costing you more in the long run because it takes multiple people 2 people is bare minimum, you will need at least 3 people if not more. The gazebo is structurally very sound, rock solid and well made. Be aware, it’s heavy and comes in 5 boxes. We spent 2 12 days building it and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Absolutely gorgeous and should cost much more! We are so pleased. We paid for the professional installation offered by Wayfair at checkout and the two professionals that put the gazebo together exceeded our expectations. As an alternative to bolting the gazebo to our new stone patio, we cemented the columns into planters and drilled holes in them for drainage.
