This is a good solid shower base. It was generally square and straight although the front edge was a bit bowed out. It doesn’t come with a drain so keep that in mind. Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports. The components themselves look and feel like quality items. The instructions are terrible at best. If you have not done an instal before, this is not the unit for you. The door panel that was shipped had a chip out of the top of the panel. It is really ugly. I have emailed Dreamline to see if they will stand behind it. It appears the chip occurred prior to packaging or shipping as there was no chip remnant in the package. I have installed numerous surrounds and this one has been the least enjoyable. Finally, the instructions tell you to install the door flush with the stationary panels at the tops of the panels. This is not possible with the dimensions of the door panel.. Renee. Racine, WI.
