This is a THICK medium sized hexagon tile that we plan to use for a bathroom floor. The tile is a wonderful “classic” blue with no green or teal undertones. We are pairing it with a smaller patterned hex accent tile for the shower niche and a gray/taupe wall tile. I love the matte finish and variations of color in the tile. I wouldn’t recommend this tile for a backsplash or wall tile due to the thickness but it’ll make a great bathroom floor that will not crack easily! The tile is made in Spain. Alright, SO- lets start with the good, this is my dream tile, looks fantastic. Used a mid grey grout, beauty. Now the bad- whoever came up with this measurement guide has been huffin some serious industrial grade glue, I think. I needed maybe 13 of what this sq. ft. calculator advised. Meaning- I spent waaaaaaaay more than I should have. Theres more When the tile showed up, I only received 7 of the 27 boxes I was supposed to. When I tried to get the rest, there was a big to-do because they were now on back order. Luckily, wayfair has a very awesome help system, this is why I continue to shop with them. But when the shipment came in for round 2, it was again missing boxes. At least half. Thankfully I didnt need all the other boxes that should have come in, so I took what came in, and returned what didnt. Moral of the story- I originally over paid by almost 700 because of this estimating tool. I put this black tile all throughout my busy traffic areas in my home and it gives it such a chic look. I advise ordering all the tile you need the first time though.
