This Bachman extendable dining table is just what we needed! It's expensive but the quality is very good. It is a solid wood indeed and it fits perfectly in our space. We needed something that will work for our not so big dining area for everyday use but can be extended to use when there's a big gathering. We got a different set of dining chairs coz we needed more back support and this table and its bench matched perfectly with the different chairs we got. This purchase was big enough that full service assembly was free from the Wayfair guys so that was really helpful. It's quite heavy too. My husband and I absolutely love the look and how versatile the design is. If you want to achieve a modern, timeless or even farmhouse vibe in your house, this will fit your needs! 10/10 recommend. . A trestle-style table of brown-finished solid oak brings a traditional look to modern speed. Seats up to 10 comfortably.

I really like this table. The wood is smooth, but not overly polished. It has a bit of a rustic look, but not too much that it didn’t work in my room. I love the fact that it is one solid 8’ tabletop, rather than extensions.. Karen. MD. Wed Feb 04 2026

Beautiful table! Great quality and color. Still trying to find chairs to pair it with. Chairs with arms may have trouble fitting on either end due to insert beams coming down. These barely fit with the beamed underneath.. Olivia. NC. Fri Jul 17 2026

We’re putting together our new dining room and this table is a hit. The only thing I don’t prefer is that one extended side is an extension of the main table top and the other side is not. I’m not sure if that’s typical as I’d prefer if they both match. Otherwise, the table is heavy and very sturdy. Comfortably fits 8-10, but 12 is a big stretch.. Sean. Lancaster, PA. Sat Aug 29 2026

The Dining Table embodies true rustic appeal with its characteristic pedestal base and created from reclaimed pine wood. Every aspect of the table tells its own story, emphasized by mesmerizing color variations and natural markings on the wood's surface. The timeless yet modern elements of the table combine style with functionality and offer a versatile dining option for any house.

The holes for the nail on the table top were filled with some wood substance plugs. That would be fine, except the grain in the wood plugs is contrary to the grain of the table top. Many of them are very obvious though a few of them, blend. Other than that, the table is nice and sturdy and looks exactly like the pictures both in color and design.. Debra. Sacramento, CA. For the price so far, so good. I find it hilarious that the ribbed wood pedestal is Velcrod to the table But it looks fine enough for my purposes. I bought the table more for looks, as it will rarely be used. Still, its very decent quality (as much quality as you can get from MDF and veneer), and seems sturdy with the extra middle support. Id say it seats 8 comfortably. If you have slimmer profile chairs, you could squeeze in 10 tightly.. Heather. Sacramento, CA. Fri Aug 28 2026
