The product is well made, sturdy and has a clean design. I read the comments before purchasing the product and I am glad I did. I learned from other's comments and tips about both the product and the installation. First, this is a single rail, bypass, double door kit. Both doors will ride on the same rail. I think some customers were looking for a two rail system, where the doors ride on their own rail and will move independent of each other. I like the cleaner look of a single rail, so I knew what I was purchasing. Second, the instructions were not clear, but I learned from other comments where I needed to pay attention. * You will need a router to make a channel or a groove at the bottom of the door for the "floor guide". This keeps the barn door from swaying in and out and keeps it in line when sliding open/close. * My barn door was thinner than the bolt and acorn nut that holds the hangar/roller to the barn door. Some comments said they bought shorter bolts, but I wanted to keep the original bolts to maintain the same color, so i bought additional washers to make up for the thickness and placed them on the backside of the door so you cannot see them. * Understand the width of the overlap of the doors so that you know what width of doors you need to buy and the length of the rail you need. This makes more sense when you read the directions and see the overlap visual. If you don't understand the overlap and the loss of total width, you may not have enough door and/or rail width to cover your opening. As simple as it looks, it took a little longer because of the gaps in the instructions, but it worked out especially with the help of other comments. I am very happy with the product though. • If you have a door trim, please put a header board that is as thick as the trim and then attach the rail to the header board.

The bypass option is made available on one track. It is never an easy job to install a double-track bypass kit. Sometimes the clearance you have is not enough, sometimes the gap between the two doors is too large, and sometimes it just feels frustrating to put all the pieces together. Now, with our single-track bypass option, installing a bypass kit has never been easier. You can just follow the steps for a standard double-door kit and replace the regular hangers with the bending ones.PLS KINDLY NOTED THAT IT IS SINGLE TRACK BYPASS RATHER THAN DOUBLE TRACKS BYPASS.

I was a little worried the day it was delivered to my house, because it sat outside in the pouring rain for hours. It's metal and I didn't know if it would get wet and untimely rust?! This worked out great for what I was doing my opening was under the 72 inches so I was able to cut the track down to fit. I only wish the jit came with the door stoppers. This bottom track is constructed from roll-formed steel and comes finished in champagne gold. The track can be used for new installs, or to replace missing or damaged bottom tracks of by-passing mirror doors that use convex edge mirror door roller assemblies. They feature a double-grooved track as used by a variety of mirror door manufacturers, and can easily be cut for custom installs. I ordered four rails and all arrived in four different tubes. All are in great shape after shipping. The order arrived one late from the promised ship date. That’s not a big deal.
