I am very pleased with this deck box. I have another one from Suncast which is still in great shape, but I needed a bigger one and wanted one with a wicker look to go with new resin wicker furniture. This is the biggest one I could find. It holds 7 of the box cushions pictured, plus the two back cushions on top. Assembly was easy using a screwdriver and a rubber mallet. I only needed a second set of hands when I was installing the lid. I like that the lid will stay open by itself and this deck box does indeed keep the cushions dry. Following advice from other reviews, I replaced ‘BB’ screws with pan head, self- drilling screws and added pads to bottom of box. I also painted panels 2x with high gloss, black Rustoleum for added protection and to match color to that of my outdoor wicker furniture. It's huge, maybe I didn't fully read the dimensions, but ultimately perfect b/c I think it will hold nearly all of our many chair and sofa cushions. Regardless, the exterior looks so great. So much better than the faux wicker look you see everywhere else. And the color is much better than the "tan" or "espresso" you see all over. The greige-ish color is so current. Plus it's extra seating for our covered porch. I put some decorative pillows on top and it blends right in as furniture and not bulky storage. I'm so pleased. Oh - and assembly wasn't too difficult; my husband did it alone within an hour. Probably more like 30 minutes.
