Surprisingly, the bed almost looks like a full-size bed because of how spacious the room is. If you have a large bedroom and have been debating whether to upgrade to a king-size bed, consider this your sign to do it! Assembly was the only challenging part. It took about two hours to put together, and this is definitely a two-person job. There are quite a few slats that need to be installed, so be prepared to spend some time assembling it. However, once everything was put together, it was completely worth it. The bed feels very sturdy, looks high-end, and paired with our mattress, it is beyond comfortable. Pretty straight forward and easy to install. My husband (who isn't too handy) was able to do it himself. It is very heavy so two people may be needed since it's 110lbs. The gold matches my daughter bathroom and it looks beautiful. The back is shorter than our last one but it's good since my four year old is able to teach the buttons by herself. The lid is soft closing so no more slamming of the cover. Feels great and looks just as clean and sleek.
