I was happy to find these shades for our patio. Hadn't had much luck except to order custom made at three times the price! I wish these were offered in shorter lengths....96 x 96 is 3 feet longer than the openings on my patio, but we can unroll them to the floor at almost 8 feet, or just leave them at the top of our brick wall and have extra fabric on the roll. I have two universal RF hubs (Bond Bridge Pro and Toyanc IRRF transmitter) for home automation, and for some reason, both accepted the programming frequency of the remote (433.92 MHz), but neither would transmit the right codes. Unfortunately, they were too wide so we had to mount them on the outside of the frame. Also, just note that the fabric is about an inch short in width than the metal roller. This roll-up blind is very popular in Japan. A perfect natural decorative option to be used for screening and sunshade. This is naturally hollow making them excellent material for insulating heat from the sun on residential and commercial premises. Reed is harvested once a year for our fencing and curtain production. Each of the curtains is peeled and cleaned. This material is sustainable due to the yearly harvest cycle.
