I gave it a 3 because I really love the style and tones this has compared to others.. unfortunately I haven't had luck purchasing bigger ticket items through wayfair without some sort of malfunction which is so frustrating.. wayfair has always been understanding but time after time I come back to order something just to be disappointed again.. this time we put the whole thing together just to find out the last 4 screws for the top don't fit cause the internal pieces are broken.. there's no way at this point it's coming down for a return just to put another one together.. I also wished there was a way to keep both sides of the canopy up to the top to make a bigger clearance to walk through but the way this works doesn't allow for that... Laura. This pergola is very substantial and well made. The engineering of it is pretty cool too. My wife and I assembled it in about 3 hours. Delivery was A1 with no damage to the 4 big heavy boxes it ships in. Be sure to have a complete set of allen/hex wrenches, as a handful of bolts were a different head.
