Moulding looks great. I chose to add backlight. Install was easy. I added a 1“ strip of foam board that o tacked to the wall during install to maintain an even gap to the wall. Material was easy to cut with a miter saw. Also I reduced the bottom of the moulding by 2 inches to by running through a table saw-I would have looked too big on the wall otherwise. I glued the pieces to the ceiling with a glue that is made for foam, held it in place with 8ft floor trim until the glue dried. Very happy with the look of this. We laid the light so that the sticky part of the strip was against the far wall of the crown facing towards the wall rather than facing towards the ceiling which made the light have a more soft fall off gradient rather than a hard line fall off. The last two images (the teal and green colors show the difference between the soft and hard fall off look. It’s nice to have a variety of light expression. We did this in our basement theater room and love it. We also got our drop down ceiling from Wayfair and the structure of it looks awesome with the unique lighting emphasizing it.. Gloria Joy. It will look great in our modern kitchen. It came nicely packaged in a long box with quick delivery too. I have a recessed ceiling, which will add a touch of class in the higher areas.
