I bought it in walnut. It looks really nice and seems very sturdy. I put it together my self (55F) over the course of a few hours after work with no issues. The only issue I had was that it had a defect in the glaze on front. The manufacturer offered a nice discount, so I decided to keep it. This side board is gorgeous in peron. I purchased two of them to serve as a long TV console with the TV mounted on the wall just above it. The color is rich. The shelves are spacious. I added a few wooden baskets inside to keep stuff neat. Note, the entire piece isnt wooden but the legs and front are. It took the installer about 2hrs to put both pieces together. Very pretty. Instructions were clear, but I also put together a lot of furniture. Easy to follow if you know what you’re doing. Took a couple hours, but the longest part was trying to get the doors completely even after they were installed. I see a lot of other people say that theirs are not even, but the hinges are designed to be movable up and down, in and out, etc.. Failed Instructions!! Step 15 has you attach part 14 to the L/R sides which then have to be connected to the base. If you are assembling this solo you DO NOT want to do this as you then have to lift the thing upright. Unless your outstretched arms are wide enough to grasp both ends you will (as i did) end up with a damaged piece as the screw tears through. Instead you one can easily place the base onto the floor on all 4 feet, THEN attach the L/R sides to the base, and finally fit that piece 14 in. The damage is not visible, but it obviously compromises the structural integrity of the piece should it need to be moved. Failing in instructions, which btw, were missing the last 2 pages. Multiple pieces also had the finish worn/peeling off. However, I got this on a super sale for $204 so despite these failings, I am very pleased overall. Looks amazing.. Alice. Brooklyn, NY. Great looking and quality sideboard! Installation is a little time consuming but especially adjusting the cabinet doors to align them properly. It takes about 3 hours to assemble. This credenza is absolutely beautiful. I was just looking for something decent enough for my office to hold binders and office storage.What I got was a chic piece of statement furniture that is also functional and gives me tons of storage to boot. The color is a deep gray just shy of black. The doors are “fluted” and the handles are a nice soft gold. I kept polishing the front because it looked dusty and then I realized it was a reflection from the handles. The interior shelving is adjustable so there is room for large binders. One long drawer and two short make for adequate space for smaller supplies. I did expect the drawers to be deeper but they are fairly shallow compared to the base. This came in two exceptionally heavy boxes and literally several hundred pieces. I did use the assembly service and it was worth every penny! This thing was a bear but he was a champion!
