I think this is a great item. It is the second one we purchased. We have 3 American Curl cats, curious & loveable but also terrors, zoomers, wire chewers and mischief makers. Two brothers and a sister who can not have total run of the house. The gates let us keep them in the kitchen great room area and they cannot jump or climb over the gates. I would highly recommend this product. It looks good, lets the pets see you and works so much better than the makeshift gates we tried to construct.
