Assembly was pretty straight forward, except putting on the back — there wasn’t a clear image of which direction it went, so make sure you look at where the Velcro goes and that the flap is supposed to cover the very back of the sofa. I ordered this faux leather chair for my husband’s office, and it is just perfect for the space! It has a slightly more modern, modular shape, which adds a nice contrast in his more traditional office. Assembly was pretty easy and only required the included Allen wrench. Everything arrived in one box, and the cushions were vacuum sealed but fluffed up fairly quickly once opened. The faux leather arrived in perfect condition with no scratches or scuff marks. I even did a little scratch test with my fingernail in an inconspicuous spot to see how durable the material seemed, and it didn’t leave any noticeable marks. That made me feel like the material will hold up better than some other faux leathers I’ve seen. One thing to note is that this is a very deep chair. I’m 5’5”, and when I sit all the way back, my feet don’t touch the floor. For someone taller, that may not be an issue at all. My husband finds it very comfortable, and I do too. I took a chance on this loveseat (especially with the blue color) and it far exceeded my expectations! The colortexture is beautiful in person (almost like a dark denim) and feels like it will hold up well in our basement. While it is technically 2 pieces (not a singular loveseat), I don’t think it detracts from the overall look — I just draped a throw blanket over the back to cover up the seam! The pieces themselves are heavysubstantial and not easily moved, especially on a rug. And the seat itself is very comfortable! It’s soft but on the firmer side (but not in a stiff way, in a good, more supportive way if you have back problems, kind-of-deal!!) I am very happy with this and am so excited to start using it!. I ordered this faux leather chair for my husband’s office, and it is just perfect for the space! It has a slightly more modern, modular shape, which adds a nice contrast in his more traditional office. Assembly was pretty easy and only required the included Allen wrench. Everything arrived in one box, and the cushions were vacuum sealed but fluffed up fairly quickly once opened. The faux leather arrived in perfect condition with no scratches or scuff marks. I even did a little scratch test with my fingernail in an inconspicuous spot to see how durable the material seemed, and it didn’t leave any noticeable marks. That made me feel like the material will hold up better than some other faux leathers I’ve seen. One thing to note is that this is a very deep chair. I’m 5’5”, and when I sit all the way back, my feet don’t touch the floor. For someone taller, that may not be an issue at all. My husband finds it very comfortable, and I do too. This little sofa is really lovely! The faux leather doesn’t look plastic-y or cheap at all, and it’s comfortable and sturdy. Looks more expensive than it was. Assembly was pretty straight forward, except putting on the back — there wasn’t a clear image of which direction it went, so make sure you look at where the Velcro goes and that the flap is supposed to cover the very back of the sofa.
