Overall, I really like this set. The table and stools are sturdy, well-made, and look great once assembled—perfect for a small dining space or kitchen. The only downside was that my package included an outdated set of instructions and incorrectmissing hardware, which made assembly frustrating and prevented me from installing the shelf. That said, customer service was excellent and very responsive in working to resolve the issue, which I really appreciated. This island is gorgeous, what a bargain. Almost looks custom built in my kitchen. Very very spacious, beautiful glass doors, ample sitting space to eat or work, and tons of tabletop prep space for serious cooks (main reason why I got it). I received the kitchen island with extendable dining table which had a few challenges during assembly. One of the board was not milled with the cut outs to fit the other piece together. I contacted customer service and they contacted the manufacturer. The manufacturer sent the correct piece which took about a week to receive. During assembly, there were some areas where the pre-made holes for the screws were not lined up and required some drilling to correct. Once the island was assembled, it looked great and was sturdy. Behind the two doors is an adjustable shelf with ample storage and the drawer is wide and roomy. There is a towel rack at the end of the island and the extendable table pulls out easily and provides enough room for two adults to sit. I love the fluted wood design and the gold fixtures stands out nicely from the white.
