I want to love this as it seems very sturdy. It is thick plastic and even the screws are plastic, so there won’t be any rust. The doors are glass and I love that they lock. The only issue I had is my 10lb cat laid on the top of it and pushed the grate down. It was not sturdy. We pushed it back in the groove and used a staple gun to reinforce the edges. It seems to not have any give with it anymore. I think more reinforcement to the underside of the grate is definitely needed. I took a picture of it pushed in and after we stapled it back up. . Honestly a very high quality tank. Watertight base is deep enough for several uses, pool or substrate wise. holds humidity and heat really well, and the assembly was super easy with clear instructions. Even came with glass grip gloves to make assembly that much easier and safer. I have 2 hermit crabs and a chameleon together in there and they are so happy. Tall enough and wide enough to be spacious inside, but just right to fit most tables. This enclosure exceeded my expectations! I love the option to use screen (which is heavy duty), or glass. I opted to have a portion of screen on the left rear, and right front. This gives optimal circulation for my chameleon. It was a little challenging to put together and line everything up (definitely a two or three person job), but in the end it’s worth it. The bottom is thick enough that was was able to layer nicely for a bioactive substrate. After trying to order a custom cage from a well-known individual, but he would never send me the promised quotes (even after I told him I was trying to make it rain here..), I gave up and searched elsewhere.
