These did not need to be inserted in the covers as some cushions are but only remove plastic wrapper and - snap - you literally watched them inflate. The color is exactly as pictured, the color of new grass and leaves. The bottom cushions may be a little hard for some, but I love the thickness. After several years, the most-used cushion covers of our outdoor sectional cushion were becoming threadbare. Although the fabric of the these replacement covers is not as nice as the original Suncast covers, they do serve the purpose. The seat covers fit well, but the back covers are too loose.
