This is a stunning appliance, very sleek looking when installed. A design feature that I really like is the single control panel that governs both units. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was part of the appliance package for our new home and while it looks very nice and does a great job cooking there are a couple of significant issues that have arisen. 1. The temperature probe feels the need to tell you how to set it. What I mean is that you can't set the probe for a temperature lower than the manufacturer believes is acceptable. The minimum temperature for beef is 145 (or 140 can't remember) which is way too high. And I find it offensive (and unnecessarily complicated in design) that it doesn't just let me set the temperature that I want. 2. The control panel is really badly designed. (Now ours might be broken - which is another issue with this appliance; we can't get the replacement parts - they say they are coming but???) Having the same interface for the microwave and the oven is pointless. And causes problems as switching from the oven settings (when the oven is operating) back to the microwave is almost impossible (you have to press the screen many many times before it switches back). This could also be because it is not an actual "touch"-screen but rather has sensors (springs) behind the panel that tell the system where you pushed. Seriously, have a touch screen or have buttons don't use this half-baked technology. It looks good and functions but I would never buy it.. GRMc. . 2023-01-12 18:34:03

This is a replacement for a previous same model. This one wouldn't fit all the way in the opening so the front hangs out about an inch at the top. The oven door grated when opened and closed. A tech came out and said it would smooth out. That was okay as long as air didn't leak out the sides. I'm in Arizona and we don't get much rain, but now it is monsoon time and everytime it rains hard, the microwave sends me a message saying I have to push the fuse switch, wait 30 seconds and switch it back. Then it works. My fuse box is outside! Yesterday, I called the tech help number on the literature, and got a woman with a foreign accent. She kept saying that if it works after I change the fuse switch, then it is working! The main oven is fine, but the problem is with the microwave oven. It works fine when it works. I want to add that Electrolux was very helpful when I had problems with the first combo oven and brought me my new one as soon as they could. Meanwhile, I don't know how to reach somebody for help who can check the problem.. Frustrated in Arizona. . 2022-09-16 04:05:00

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our 1974-installed oven with this one, and it's like I've joined the 21st century! I really love having the ability to switch between traditional oven cooking and convection cooking. Setting temps and cook times is extremely easy, and the self-cleaning feature works amazingly well (had to use it Christmas morning after the brown sugar/butter mixture for monkey bread overran the edges of the bundt pan)!! The only real negatives I can mention have to do with the minor disaster referenced in the previous sentence and the auto shutoff feature when timed cooking ends. While we had done exactly what the instructions told us to do as far as heating the oven and allowing it to bake for a certain amount of time prior to its first use, and had actually cooked pork chops and cookies in it since then, when the brown sugar/butter mixture overran the pan, the smoke and chemical-like fumes that billowed from the oven were noxious. The entire house was smelling like chemical fumes. That said, after we ran the self-clean feature, the oven has been just fine and we've had no more problems. Just not sure what happened. The only other issue is just frustrating. After the timer ends, the oven automatically shuts off. While I understand this is a safety feature (and I think it's a positive one), it can be frustrating. If the food isn't quite done, I have to turn the oven back on, reset the cook temp, and let the food continue to bake. This happens every time a timer is used, and the only way around it is to not set a timer. Just wish there were a way to set a timer AND keep the oven from not immediately shutting down. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only complaint is when you set the timer once the oven has come to temp and you have placed what your cooking in the oven, once the timer goes off so does the oven, when baking cookies, this is NOT convenient at all since then you have to wait until the oven comes back to temp to put in additional cookies to bake. The interior of this oven is smaller than the previous oven of the same dimensions, so this was a surprise since several of the cooking pans will now not fit. I have to test the pan before using to make sure the oven door will close. This is the only annoying thing about the oven. The heat venting at the top is where it should be and works fantastic. The oven temperature seems to be cooking spot on along with the time it is suppose to take to cook things so this has been a pleasant surprise as well. Overall, just a very pleasant surprise and simplistic to use compared to some of the other double ovens. Definitely MUCH better than the high end ovens used in the past.
